DiGiorno pizza has been named the Official Pizza of the Chicago Blackhawks, Bulls and the United Center.
The United Center affiliation has spurred the first DiGiorno Pizzeria, featuring the brand's signature Rising Crust pizza and a full bar.
"The DiGiorno brand is proud to call Chicago home," said Tom Moe, director of marketing for DiGiorno Pizza. "Our pizza has always given sports fans the fresh-baked taste they expect from carry out and delivery at home, and we're thrilled that fans can now make DiGiorno part of their experience at the United Center, while cheering on our hometown teams."
The DiGiorno Pizzeria opened earlier this week and features three varieties, cheese, pepperoni and sausage. Fans also can purchase DiGiorno Pizza at several concession stands located throughout the concourse.
"We pride ourselves on providing our fans with great concessions, and the DiGiorno Pizzeria is an exciting addition to the United Center," said Howard Pizer, executive vice president, United Center.
Chicago-based DiGiorno Pizza also is the Official Pizza of the Chicago White Sox.
