Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation, a Delaware Corporation, is currently negotiating leases in the Monroeville, Pa., market to open a corporately-owned Unique Pizza and Subs.
The search has been narrowed down to two spaces for the company's showcase location.
James Vowler, president and CEO of Unique Pizza and Subs Corporation, said the company has wanted to open a flagship corporate store for a couple of years, but needed to first fully complete its restructuring process.
The new location will offer dine-in, a bar area, delivery and take-out.
"Each of the four separate profit centers will be operated and incentivized of their own, which will allow our flagship corporate store to enjoy tremendous success," Vowler said.
The location also will have a separate cooking station in the dining room, allowing staff to show kids how to make their own pizza. Additionally, there will be live entertainment and many sponsored local events.
The location will house the corporate offices and will be used as a training facility for Pittsburgh stores and future franchisees.
