TR & B Corporation has filed a lawsuit against Louisville, Ky.-based Yum! Brands for using recipes without permission.

According to Louisville's WHAS 11 News, Illinois-based TR & B Corporation claims it entered into a written agreement with Yum in 2003 that would allow use of its barbecue sauce, pizza, coleslaw and collard greens at Yum's KFC and Pizza Hut chains.

However, the company claims that communication with Yum stopped after that initial contact, and that Yum continues to use those recipes without permission or compensation.

TR & B is asking for $15 million in damages, plus attorney's fees and court costs.
