Domino's Pizza has chosen Transaction Wireless, a provider of digital gift card solutions, to enhance its gift card program to offer both eGift and traditional plastic gift cards on the Domino's website.
Gift cards can be personalized with an image, audio and text to be delivered through email, mobile and mail, and can incorporate social media with Facebook.
Domino's Pizza customers can choose either an eGift or traditional plastic gift card on the company website to share with friends and family. eGift cards can be customized with a personal photo uploaded from a computer or Facebook account, an audio recording and accompanying text message.
Domino's eGift cards can be scheduled for delivery on any day and at any time and sent to a recipient's email address or mobile phone.
Customers can purchase Domino's traditional plastic gift cards on its site to be delivered via standard and expedited mail. While recipients wait for their plastic gift card with a personalized card carrier to arrive, they will receive an email notification that's customized similarly to eGift cards, with a personal uploaded photo or one from Facebook, an audio recording and text message.
Both eGift and traditional plastic gift cards allow senders to post the personal text message included in Domino's gift cards on Facebook for friends to see. As an added convenience, both eGift and traditional plastic card recipients are able to check any remaining gift card balances at any time online through the storefront or on mobile.
"We're excited to partner with Domino's Pizza to enhance its gift card solutions to incorporate more digital and social media capabilities and work with such a recognized and celebrated brand," said Doug Schneider, CEO of Transaction Wireless. "Now we can help make the next pizza gathering with family and friends more memorable and fun—just as easy as ordering their next Domino's pizza."
