Domino's Australia is asking its nearly 500,000 Facebook fans to help the company create what it's calling the "world's first social pizza."
According to SocialCommerceToday, Domino's Australia Facebook fans can vote for their favorite crust, sauce and toppings, and the most popular selection from each day will be added.
For a chance to win $1,000, fans will also have the chance to name the pizza in a competition that begins March 27. The winning pizza will also appear on Domino's menu.

"Eating pizza is inherently social, but what about creating one? I for one am curious to see what a pizza made by our Dominos fans looks like, a pizza made by the people, for the people," says Matt Barnes, interactive director at BMF Sydney, the agency that created the campaign.

Domino's Japan launches BOGO campaign
Domino's Japan is offering guests a buy-one-get-one free pizza deal for guests who order online using the English website.
According to Japan Today, the deal is a way to drive traffic to the English website, which launched last year as part of the company's 25th anniversary in Japan.
Additionally, the company is running a special campaign through the end of April to celebrate the 3D release of "Star Wars Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace." Pizzas come in an original Domino's "Star Wars" box.
