Pie Five Pizza Co., a subsidiary of Pizza Inn Holdings Inc., has opened its sixth restaurant nine months after making its debut. The new unit is located on the corner of Midway and Park, in Carrollton, Texas.
"Pie Five has created a new way to experience pizza, and our guests love it," said Charlie Morrison, president and CEO of Pizza Inn Holdings. "There's been a tremendous demand from our Dallas-Fort Worth fans, and we're proud to introduce our newest location in Carrollton."
The new Pie Five is more than 2,000 square feet with seating for 69 guests and features dine-in and carry-out service.
The Pie Five menu gives customers the option of choosing any sauce and topping combinations or one of 12 specialty pies, assembled before them on a 9-inch Crispy Thin or Classic Pan crust, baked and ready to eat in less than 5 minutes.
To celebrate the new opening, Pie Five is offering guests the opportunity to register to win free pizza for a year online. Guests can enter now through April 13. Five winners will be announced the week of April 16.
Pizza Inn has plans to expand its Pie Five concept to about 25 units within the next two years. In November, the company received a credit facility to help with this goal.
