Mellow Mushroom Pizza Bakers will open its newest unit in Southlake, Texas, on April 16. This Mellow is located in the Gateway Shopping Center, within miles of the Dallas-Fort Worth Airport, and will be operated by Jim AuBuchon and Fred Buttrell.
"Southlake is a family-oriented community, and Mellow has something to offer for all ages. We are thrilled to bring in such a unique concept, menu and design to this community," AuBuchon said.
The new Mellow Mushroom will feature a Coca-Cola themed patio pavilion, a VW Bus for customers to dine in and a three-dimensional VW Bus flying out of the wall in the bar area.
It will also include a full-service bar with a variety of liquor, craft beer and wine options. Guests who join the Mellow Mushroom beer club receive members-only rewards as they make their way through all 85 beers.
