Pizza Hut introduces garlic bread pizza

Pizza Hut has introduced garlic bread pizza, featuring melted cheese and pizza toppings on thick, buttered garlic bread.

The new menu item includes nine one-topping slices and sells for $8.99.

The company offered a sneak peak of the garlic bread pizza to its 7.7 million fans on Facebook June 24, before officially introducing the item June 25. The announcement has yielded nearly 15,500 likes so far, and more than 830 comments.
