Iowa-based Pizza Ranch has plans in place to grow in the Kansas City, Kan., market.

According to the Kansas City Star, the company recently opened a new freestanding location in Liberty, Kan., and has another site under contract nearby, in addition to more site negotiations taking place. One of the sites being negotiated is located near the Kansas Speedway.

Overall, plans call for four new Pizza Ranch locations in the market in the next year. Other possible locations have been identified, as well. The Kansas City stores are expected to be company owned.
