Papa John's CEO/founder/chairman John Schnatter was in Dubai over the weekend to celebrate the Louisville, Ky.-based brand's 100th unit opening in the Middle East.

Papa John's Facebook page includes numerous photos from the celebration.

The brand opened its Dubai flagship store in 2006 and announced plans to open 50 units within five years.

Papa John's has been operating in the Middle East since 2000, originally in Kuwait, Egypt, Oman, Bahrain and Qatar.
