CiCi's Pizza has announced that Bill Spae has been promoted from chief development officer to chief operating officer. In his new role, Spae will lead the brand's full service distribution company, JMC Restaurant Distribution LP, which exclusively serves CiCi's Pizza restaurants.
Additionally, Spae will continue his business and restaurant development responsibilities, which includes furthering CiCi's "Build the Brand" growth initiative to recruit the best franchisees and secure the best sites to help the brand expand across the country.
"We know CiCi's franchisees rely on JMC for its dependable service, as well as quality goods and equipment, and we are confident Bill is ideal to oversee this critical division of our business," said Mike Shumsky, CEO. "His background and expertise within the franchising industry will continue to be an integral component of our company's success and ongoing growth."
As an exclusive division of CiCi's Pizza, JMC Restaurant Distribution LP is responsible for handling the purchasing and delivery of all goods and equipment for its network of restaurants.Nearly all CiCi's Pizza franchisees have elected to utilize JMC's services over other wholesalers based on its market value and consistent service.
CiCi's franchisees benefit from a 2-to-1 sales-to-investment ratio. The company is actively seeking both multi-unit and single-unit operators in Southern California, the Mid-Atlantic, the Northeast and South Florida, as well as select cities in Texas and other regions across the country.
