Tulsa, Okla.-based Mazzio's Italian Eatery has added Garlic Knots and two new specialty MasterPizzas to its menu.
Garlic Knots, twists of hand-tossed dough that are baked and brushed with herbed garlic butter, are available six for $3 or as a Baker's Dozen for $6.
Mazzio's two new specialty MasterPizzas – The Islander and the Sweet and Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza – are extra large, 15-inch pizzas for $10.50 each.
The Islander toppings include Canadian bacon, roasted peppers, caramelized onions and pineapple. The Sweet and Spicy BBQ Chicken pizza features grilled chicken, BBQ sauce, bacon, pepperocinis, caramelized onions and crispy onions on a hand-tossed crust.
"The MasterPizzas are a mixture of our customers' favorite toppings and combinations," said Greg Lippert, president and CEO. "We always strive to offer tasty new recipes and options on our menu, and these new pizzas are a wonderful addition for summer."
These two latest additions will be added to the specialty MasterPizza menu that includes: the Napoli, Triple Pepperoni, Margherita, Mediterranean and Create Your Own.
In addition, Mazzio's gluten-free pizza has been added to the menu permanently and is available for delivery. Guests can create their own pizza or choose a specialty gluten-free option.
Mazzio's will also host a buy-one-get-one-free buffet during lunch and dinner on Sept. 11. Customers can purchase a buffet and two soft drinks and get a second buffet for free. The offer is available from 10:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. for lunch and 5-8 p.m. for dinner.
"With school starting and schedules getting busy, we want to give customers a chance to feed the whole family at an affordable price," Lippert said. "Our buy one-get-one offers are a way to say 'thank you' to our loyal customers by giving them a great deal."
