A Domino's outlet in Sydney, Australia is now delivering pizzas via electric bicycles.
According to the Mosman Daily, the Cremorne location is the first in the Sydney market to roll out the environmentally friendly delivery service.
Franchisee Adam Labbad said the four-month trial went "really well" and his delivery staff was able to travel throughout the suburb more quickly and easily than before. His operation will continue to use the traditional cars and scooters for delivery, but the bikes have tested faster.
"Our new electric bicycles have been tailor-made for our delivery needs, ensuring we can still deliver piping hot pizzas while doing our bit for the environment," he said.
Other Domino's locations in the Sydney market have been in touch with Labbad for advice on potentially implementing a similar fleet.
