Annie's has launched its new family-sized rising crust frozen pizza made with organic ingredients. The line is available in three flavors, including Uncured Pepperoni, Four Cheese and BBQ Recipe Chicken.
"More and more, parents want convenient comfort foods made with higher quality ingredients for their families," said Sarah Bird, chief mom officer for Annie's. "Annie's remains committed to answering that call. Frozen pizza is a mainstay in millions of homes across the country – and now, families can choose an option made with organic ingredients that features the delicious taste people have come to expect from Annie's, in a size large enough to feed the whole family."
To celebrate the rising crust pizza launch, Annie's is kicking off the "Slice of Happiness Tour" from its hometown, Berkeley, Calif., on Sept. 29. Through mid-November, Annie's mobile pizza kitchen and organic garden will travel 6,000 miles to 11 cities nationwide, offering samples of all three pizza varieties. In addition to pre-arranged stops at events such as farmers markets, youth sporting events and parks, Annie's will be making special "detour" stops along the way as requested by fans who submit their request at anniespizzatour.com.
