Figaro's touts Middle Eastern success

Figaro's Italian Pizza Inc. has eight U.S. locations and two locations in the Middle East market – in Zayed, Abu Dhabi and in Dubai.

Holly Earle-Schultze, vice president of Marketing, said the company is very proud of its growth and success in the Middle Eastern market. The company's Zayed location, located inside Sports City, now boasts what it calls "the largest pizza sign in the world."

The sign measures about 8 feet high and 63 feet wide.

Sports City includes an ice rink, soccer stadium, cricket courts and more. The Figaro's restaurant's customers include mostly skaters who enter the restaurant wearing ice skates.

Figaro's Pizza was founded in 1981.
