Cono Italiano Inc., the manufacturer of the cone-shaped pizza cono, has announced a agreement that entails its products being sold in ShopRite stores in Northern New Jersey.
The products are presently being offered in the hot food sections where the consumer can purchase food for a snack and lunch. Products can be purchased individually or by the pound for home consumption.
"We have been offering these products to ShopRite since June of 2012, our initial store located in Nutley, New Jersey and is one of the chain's largest grossing stores. They have endured enormous success. Based on this success we have begun selling to other stores in the chain and anticipate adding additional locations in the fourth quarter and through 2013," said CEO Mitchell Brown.
Cono Italiano Inc. is also working to distribute its pizza cone product through the QSR market.
