Celebrating 65 years in business, Home Run Inn, a Chicago tradition since 1947, now has eight locations in the Windy City and a line of premium frozen pizzas made with all-natural ingredients. The family-owned company has held its own against the corporate giants of the frozen pizza world and experienced impressive growth in the marketplace in recent years. In 2010, Home Run signed a deal with Costco and introduced its own brand of wine. The brand's local marketing efforts include partnering with schools and community groups to host fundraisers at its restaurants in exchange for 20 percent of sales.
