Pizza Hut UK's dine-in restaurant business has a new owner. The global owner, Yum! Brands, recently sold 330 restauratns to the investment firm Rutland Partners, according to retailtimes.co.uk.
Rutland will invest £20m (US $31,756,000) in support of a wider investment of £60m (US $95,268,000) to improve the business, but Yum! will continue to act as franchisor for the dine-in business. It will also help grow the Pizza Hut delivery business in the UK through other franchise and new unit development. The management team, led by Jens Hofma, also will not change.
