San Francisco-based Patxi's Pizza made its Colorado debut earlier this week with a new location in Denver's Cherry Hills at Kent Place.
Partners Francisco "Patxi" Azpiroz and William Freeman announced the brand's addition to the Denver market.
"With seven successful locations in the Bay Area, we are thrilled to bring our fresh, authentic Chicago-style and Italian pizzas to Denver's thriving food scene. We are committed to become a vital part of the Denver community by creating more than 100 jobs and supporting charitable endeavors throughout the year," Freeman said.
The new location, in the Kent Place shopping center, features an open, loft-like space, with a rustic yet contemporary atmosphere. Design elements include:
- Industrial-style stainless steel fans, modern Ferrer chairs and exposed aggregate concrete floors;
- An 89-seat dining room;
- An open kitchen window invites guests to watch as their pizzas and small plates are handcrafted;
- A 10-seat bar includes handicapped seating and is separated from the dining area by a vintage-inspired tempered glass partition; and
- In the warmer months, a 43-seat patio with an eastern-exposure will be available.
Patxi's menu features a variety of pizzas, including its flagship Chicago-style Stuffed Pizza, as well as salads and small plates.
"Here at Patxi's we happily renounce stovetops, deep fryers and freezers, and instead we love to focus on preparing all of our dishes using fresh ingredients, sourced locally when possible. We can't wait for Denverites to try it and love it," Azpiroz said.
Another location is also planned soon for Cherry Creek in Denver.
