Orlando, Fla.-based Flippers Pizzeria has launched a new iPhone mobile application available for free download in the Apple iTunes store.
The new application makes online ordering from iPhones, iTouches and iPads a seamless experience. After downloading and logging into the new application, guests are able to place an order for pizza delivery or pickup or to repeat their last order. They can also view their order history with the app, search for nearby locations and add favorite locations.
"The new application is something we've been thinking about for quite some time now, and our team has been working very hard over the past few months to bring it to fruition," said Kelly Pfister, marketing director at Flippers Pizzeria. "According to analytic data over the past three years, the use of smartphones with our consumer base continues to increase, so it was only logical that we develop an app for those consumers."
Pfister said that a new mobile compatible website will also be released soon for those customers without Apple products, which will make it easier to browse menus, locations and place online orders.
In addition to the new app, the chain is also revealing a new t-shirt design and mug this month, available for purchase in most Flippers Pizzeria locations.
"Our customers love to show their pride and excitement for our brand," Pfister added. "This is a way for them to take the Flippers brand representing the best pizza in Florida with them wherever they go."
