The Chuck E. Cheese restaurant in South Portland, Maine, will close on Dec. 16. According to the Bangor Daily News, this is the only Chuck E. Cheese unit in the entire state.

The brand's parent company, CEC Entertainment Inc., said a lease agreement could not be negotiated before its expiration deadline. The company expects to find new venues in Maine. The closest locations to Maine residents are now in New Hampshire (two units) and Massachusetts (two units).
