Sterling Heights, Mich.-based Jet's Pizza, which began franchising in 1990, spent its first 25 years growing in Michigan. Now the company has locations in more than a dozen states and is eyeing other spots for development. Along with its famous, signature deep-dish square pizza, Jet's menu includes new additions such as a Buffalo Chicken Pizza, which was unveiled last March, just in time for spring break and the NCAA Basketball Tournament. The new pizza appeals to a growing interest in hot and spicy food. The company received a 2011 ONOSYS Spark Award from ONOSYS Online Ordering in recognition of its outstanding online ordering sales.
