NEXTEP Systems has announced record sales and earnings for 2012, posting a 60-percent increase in revenue. This marks the seventh consecutive year since its inception in 2005 that NEXTEP has shown positive growth and continued profitability.
Also in 2012, NEXTEP finished its cloud-based restaurant point-of-sale system and was awarded its first patent, with six more in process. The company has a footprint in several industries, but its biggest sales last year came from new restaurant sales, as well as through corporate cafeteria sales in partnership with Sodexo, ARAMARK and Compass Group.
"It was an exciting year for NEXTEP," said Tommy Woycik, president of NEXTEP Systems. "I could not be more pleased to see the growth we've made not only financially, but as a dynamic team. It's also great to know that we can continue to deliver amazing customer service while improving the product suite through significant expansion into new accounts."
To support its sales growth in 2012, NEXTEP increased staffing by 20 percent. The company expects similar growth in 2013 as it accelerates development of mobile and tablet ordering solutions, extending support to platforms beyond iOS to Android and Windows Phone 8.
