Villa Enterprises plans to open a Villa Italian Kitchen location in the Mall of Arabia food court in Cairo, Egypt, through franchisee Sherief Sobh.
This will be one of six total outlets planned for the country. The first, Villa Enterprises' South Philly Steaks & Fries concept, opened this week in the Mall of Arabia through franchisee Ahmed Ghoneim.
"This past year we introduced two of our restaurant brands in Egypt with the opening of a Villa Italian Kitchen and Bananas at American University in Cairo and they have been well-received by the community, " said Adam Torine, Villa Enterprises Management's senior vice president of business development. "Opening this concept in the popular Mall of Arabia provides another great opportunity to introduce our variety of flavors and dining options to Egypt, which is extremely valuable as the presence of upscale shopping centers continues to rapidly expand throughout the country."
The company currently operates international locations in seven additional countries including the U.S., Italy, Azerbaijan, Colombia, United Arab Emirates, Turkey and Mexico.
