Founded by two Texas brothers in 1958 as one of the nation's first pizza buffet concepts, Pizza Inn has grown into an international food management firm (Pizza Inn Holdings Inc.) with restaurants from Mid-America to the Middle East. In 2011, the company unveiled a new fast casual concept, Pie Five Pizza Co., which recently opened its ninth restaurant. Plans are underway to launch 20-plus more units within two years. The company also recently named Randy Gier as its new CEO to head up both brands.
