While many operators are promoting non-beef items because of rising prices, Papa John's is bucking the trend with its new steak and cheese pizza.

The pizza includes specially blended pizza and creamy garlic parmesan sauces and is layered with marinated steak slices. It is then topped with 100-percent real cheese made from mozzarella and finished with Italian herb seasoning.

Papa John's is offering the new pizza for an introductory price of $11. For the brand's Early Week Mania promotion, Monday through Wednesday, the new pizza is available for $9.99.
