Quickcue, a tablet app created to serve restaurant hosts, staff, managers and owners, has launched its Table Management solution. Building upon its waitlist and one-touch text paging capabilities, Quickcue has added a new suite of tools that covers the entire dining area.

"Since last year, we have been transforming the host stand and guest experience in restaurants around the country through our iPad-based wait list, mobile text and voice paging application," said CEO Bo Ferger. "But restaurants need efficient, intuitive tools throughout every shift, at every moment – not only when there is a wait. So we evolved our technology to meet restaurants' very obvious and real needs by adding table management into our platform."

Quickcue's Table Management tools include floor maps customized by the company for each restaurant, and the ability to assign shifts and sections, add timers, servers, guest names and party size to each table. Seating efficiency functions include pre-assigning, reserving and combining tables, while color cues show the status of every table (open, seated, dirty, closed).

The app also offers multiple device syncing, giving staff the ability to update the host stand with new arrivals, check the waitlist and change table status from anywhere.

Guests can receive text or voice paging, allowing them the ability to wait where they want to wait, and opening up the restaurant's lobby for new arrives. Hosts and servers can use the one-touch tags and custom notes that add information about each guest's visit, and capture it in an archive so they can tailor future visits.

"The more we know about our guests, the better we can tailor our service and hospitality approach to individual needs," said Rob Stickley, vice president of Revenue for Craftworks Restaurants. "Quickcue helps us gather the information we need to provide a one-of-a-kind guest experience."

"Quickcue is a progressive, hassle-free table and waitlist management system ideal for any owner/operator who has the guests' needs in mind," added Jennifer Vincent, manager of Mellow Mushroom in Chattanooga.
