Loyalty marketing company Front Flip has named Peter Brown and Gary Fish, two business leaders from the entertainment and technology industries, to its board of directors.
Brown is the former chair, CEO and president of AMC Entertainment Inc. During his tenure, the company's revenues more than doubled, from $1 billion to $2.3 billion. Brown is currently the chairman and founder of Grassmere Partners, a private investment firm headquartered in Kansas City, Mo.
Fish is the founder, president and CEO of FishNet Security Inc., an independently owned information security solutions provider in the U.S. FishNet with more than 3,600 global customers, 30 office locations and more than $600 million in annual revenue.
Brown and Fish also invested in Front Flip's Series B round, which brought the company's fundraising total to $7.7 million.
"Having spent a good part of my career focused on maximizing the guest experience and boosting loyalty, I saw immediate value in the Front Flip platform," said Brown. "Front Flip delivers what businesses truly want — a loyalty program that's exciting for customers but also profitable for the business."
Brown and Fish will help direct Front Flip on its go-to-market strategy as the company continues to expand its client portfolio of local, regional and national brands. Front Flip's client portfolio includes franchise groups from major concepts like KFC, McDonald's and Wendy's. Brown and Fish will also help provide strategic guidance on Front Flip's ongoing product enhancements.
"Front Flip is changing the loyalty space," said Fish. "Their data-rich platform is easy for business owners to manage, even those who are not tech savvy. Front Flip makes complex customer data actionable, and that puts incredible power in the business owner's hands."
The newest board members join Jon Darbyshire, executive chairman of the Archer Foundation; Board Chairman Sean Beckner, founder and CEO of Front Flip and Matt Beckner, founder and chief product officer of Front Flip.
