Denver-based Consumer Capital Partners, founded by Rick Schaden and his father Richard Schaden, is planning to open a new fast casual pizza concept next month: Honest Pizza will make its debut in Denver, according to the Denver Post.

If the firm's track record is any indication, there is a good chance Honest Pizza will expand quickly. The Schadens had a hand in the formation and growth of Smashburger, Quiznos and Tom's Urban 24.

Honest Pizza will feature 10-inch pizzas cooked in 2 minutes via an 800-degree oven.

Consumer Capital will open the first unit in May, and has two more locations on the radar in Colorado and one in California.
