New York-based Two Boots has joined the American Pizza Community, which was formed in 2010 to advocate for policies affecting pizza companies.
The APC recently held its annual legislative fly-in where many franchisees representing small and large pizza brands visited Capitol Hill to voice their concerns about how specific policies affect the industry as a whole.
"It's incredibly impactful for legislators to hear directly from constituents such as our small business owners, and we look forward to adding Two Boots into our community of pizza operators and suppliers as we continue educating lawmakers about this $35 billion industry," said Ron Berger, board member of the APC, and chairman and CEO of Figaro's Italian Pizza Inc.
Two Boots has 12 locations throughout New York City and the tri-state area, as well as stores in Baltimore, Los Angeles and Nashville, Tenn.
