California-based Pizza.com has announced that it has signed Florida-based Pizza Fusion to its membership roster.
Pizza.com offers pizzerias throughout the United States and Canada an opportunity to put themselves in front of online consumers who are making buying decisions. According to a company statement, the "enhanced listing" chosen by Pizza Fusion serves the needs of restaurant operators seeking cost-effective tools to win new customers and build customer loyalty in the highly competitive $37-billion pizza industry.
"By opting for a Pizza.com enhanced listing, Pizza Fusion guarantees itself a place at the front of the line as we roll out our multi-platform mobile ordering infrastructure, giving consumers user-friendly tools for ordering food using any Web-connected technology," said Pizza.com president Ed Zimmerman.
The chain's decision to sign with Pizza.com means that all locations will be featured prominently whenever consumers search for pizzerias in the zip code areas where Pizza Fusion locations operate.
