Guillermo Estrada, president of Pizza Patrón, inaugurated the 100th restaurant location last week in Dallas. Since franchising began in 2003, the Latin-focused pizza chain has expanded coast to coast and grown from four locations in Dallas to 100 restaurants in seven states, which puts them in the top 50 chains in terms of unit numbers and market penetration.
Store 100, features the new carry-out restaurant and spotlights the brand's famous everyday values such as its 12-inch medium AMIGO PIZZAS and X-Large LISTA-NOW READY pepperoni pizzas, which retail for $4 and $6, respectively.
"This is a great achievement in the history of our company," said Antonio Swad, founder of Pizza Patrón. "It demonstrates the relevance of our brand and hints at our potential to become a major player in our segment."
Pizza Patrón has been credited with creating the country's first chain of Latin focused pizza restaurants. The company currently operates 100 stores in seven states and plans to have 750 stores nationwide within a decade. Approximately 93 percent of Pizza Patrón restaurants in the U.S. are owned and operated by franchisees.
