Cheese Block cheese prices trended slightly down last week on the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, averaging $1.38 per pound, 1 cent less than the previous week. Prices closed at $1.39 on Monday, and $1.38 each day of the rest of the week. Wheat Prices for wheat on the Minneapolis Grain Exchange closed at $5.30 last Friday, up 4 cents from the previous Friday's close of $5.26. Prices for the rest of last week closed at $5.24 Monday, $5.32 Tuesday, $5.34 per bushel Wednesday and $5.30 on Thursday. Gasoline and diesel fuel The nationwide average for regular unleaded gasoline was $2.91 per gallon May 10, according to AAA and the Oil Price Information Service, up 1 cent from the previous week. Prices are up 2 percent from an average of $2.86 per gallon a month ago and up 32 percent from an average of $2.21 per gallon this time last year. Mid-range unleaded currently averages $3.09 per gallon while premium unleaded as of May 10 stood at $3.20 per gallon. The nationwide average price for diesel fuel stood at $3.12 per gallon May 10, up 2 cents from the previous week. Diesel prices are up 37 percent from an average of $2.27 per gallon this time last year. Natural gas Since April 28, natural gas spot prices fell at most market locations across the lower 48 states, with decreases of as much as 7 percent at some points. The Henry Hub natural gas spot price fell $0.19 per million Btu (MMBtu), or about 5 percent, to $4.00 per MMBtu, according to the U.S. Energy Information Administration. Prices at the Florida Citygate posted the only increase in the lower 48 States during the report week.

Shares in CEC Entertainment Inc., parent company of Chuck E. Cheese restaurants, closed at $37.42, down $2.95 compared with the previous week's close of $40.37. CEC traded at a 52-week high of $41.61 in May 2010 and a 52-week low of $24.69 in October 2009. California Pizza Kitchen closed at $19.88 on May 7, down $1.15 from the previous week's close of $21.03. CPKI traded as high as $22.92 in May 2010 and as low as $12.29 in December 2009. Pizza Inn closed at $1.95 on May 7, down 5 cents from the previous week's close of $2. PZZI traded at a 52-week high of $2.25 in March 2010 and a 52-week low of $1.33 cents in May 2009.
