After a successful pilot program, six San Francisco Bay Area Amici's locations are now live in the GetQuik network. GetQuick, a Santa Clara-based provider of restaurant order automation technology and services, announced in a statement that Amici's East Coast Pizzeria has joined the GetQuik network.
"We met with GetQuik in August 2009 to discuss Amici's participation in the GetQuik network," said Richard Allum, director of Marketing from Amici's East Coast Pizzeria. "When considering GetQuik, we were interested in reaching new customers, rather than simply receiving orders from our loyal Amici's customers."
One way GetQuik can reach new customers is through its "group orders" feature, whereby the original user invites people to participate in an order. Special payment options and response deadlines can be set, making the tool useful for office and party scenarios.
Amici's has six branches in the GetQuik network: San Jose, Mountain View, Dublin, Cupertino and two San Francisco locations.
GetQuik has grown its network to more than 500 restaurants in three regions - the San Francisco Bay Area, Los Angeles, and Phoenix, Ariz.
