Larry Feldman, "development agent" for over 1,000 Washington, D.C. Subway locations, has taken an interest in Fort Lauderdale organic pizza chain Pizza Fusion, according to The Palm Beach Post.
 
Feldman engineered the concept of the development agent, who helps franchisees run their businesses for a fee. Now he's bringing his expertise to the Southern Florida pizza chain, where he'll try to push the unit number up to 50. His first move was nixing the $48 stake and lobster pie to prevent their pricing out of the market.
 
The enumerated expansion plan represents an entrenchment of Feldman's relationship with the pizza chain; earlier this year, he was appointed to its Board of Directors.
