Farrelli's Pizza wins online contest for best slice

Farrelli's Pizza has announced it took fourth place in the 2009 Best of Western Washington online contest for the having the "best pizza." The restaurant beat out 118 other pizzerias that were competing for the title amid 190,192 votes cast. The contest was sponsored by King5 and Evening Magazine.
The Best of Western Washington competition is an annual contest hosted online at King5.com, the top rated news program of the Northwest, and televised by Evening Magazine (a local television show focusing on local events, places, and human-interest stories). The contest profiles local businesses and allows the public to vote and comment on their favorites. The Puget Sound community nominates their favorites and chooses a winner from the nominations.
The voting process is done online where consumers can leave feedback and ratings on each business. Winners are showcased on KING 5's Best of Western Washington Web page throughout the year.
