More than 3,000 people in the foodservice industry gathered last week at the Hilton Anatole in Dallas for the WFF's 2014 Annual Leadership Development Conference.
Not only did the event honor the contributions of its former CEO and president, Fritzi Woods, who died unexpectedly last year, but it also featured Journalist Soledad O'Brien and Poet Maya Angelou as keynote speakers.
The conference also recognized a variety of female leaders for their efforts in advancing women in the industry, while offering networking opportunities and a plethora of classes and sessions designed to help attendees excel in their fields. Class topics included: Leading teams to success, communicating better, deciphering lies, tips for working moms, strategies for career advancement and building relationships.
