VANCOUVER, British Columbia -- 222 Pizza Express Corp. announced that the first six stores in a nine-store rollout in Vancouver's Lower Mainland opened on Jan. 8.
According to a news release, two additional stores and a new commissary will open on Jan. 14. An additional store will open in February.
The company will use 16 trucks for pizza delivery in the area and employ a newly developed wireless communication, order processing, inventory control and management software package in the new locations.
222 Pizza Express also announced it will start marketing its Pizza Day program to area schools and businesses in early February.
In December, the company completed an area development agreement with the Kingsbridge Group. Kingsbridge will become the master franchisee for six territories in Vancouver Island, Markham, Ontario, the Province of New Brunswick and the U.S. States of Washington, Oregon and California over the next two years.
