Jimmy and Joe's Pizzeria has partnered with Media Made for You to leverage the company's media-rich digital signage marketing solution.
Tempe-based Media Made for You offers a small business marketing solution that exposes customers to small businesses through custom TV channels.
The company launched the service in June 2011.
"We're pleased to welcome Jimmy and Joe's Pizzeria to our roster of companies who understand the importance of finding new marketing avenues for their businesses," said Jay Lopez of Media Made for You. "Oftentimes businesses use broadcast television to satiate their customers, inviting competitors to market to them. Why would you want to do that? Terry Black, owner of a Jimmy and Joe's, which has locations in Mesa and Chandler, Ariz., said the Media Made for You service has helped him connect with his customers and communicate more effectively with them. It also serves as a market differentiator.
"It's a hip, sexy and cool way to promote our restaurants," he said. "You're doing something different and it's setting you apart from your competition."
Black added that the solution is a good way to keep customers engaged.
"Just look at what the NBA, NFL or Major League Baseball do to entertain the crowd during breaks in the action," he said. "It's no different with us. People want to be entertained and that's what Media Made for You helps accomplish."
Media Made for You delivers a custom TV channel that small businesses can tailor to their customers' needs. The product uses a dedicated computer hard drive that powers as many televisions as a customer elects to use, streaming a customized channel that broadcasts company news, customer specials, news tickers and cable television. Operators can update the package themselves.
