Ambush! Philly pizza delivery driver shot in the head, robbed

PHILADELPHIA—Philadelphia police are looking for two gunmen who called for pizza delivery and ambushed and shot the driver in the head when he arrived.

According to the Philadelphia Enquirer, the 26-year-old Papa's Perfect Pizza driver was in critical condition at Einstein Medical Center on March 28.

According to police, the driver was called to the address at about 9 p.m., in what likely was a robbery set up. However, the assailants took only the driver's pizza and identification, but left his wallet on the seat of his car.

Police, who have not released the victim's name, are checking phone records to see if they can uncover who made the call for delivery.
