Louisville, Ky.-based BoomBozz Pizza & Tap House will open its first restaurant in the Indianapolis market on Thursday. The new unit will be located in the Cool Creek Commons Shopping Center in Carmel, Ind.
BoomBozz Pizza & Taphouse is home to the Pollotate pizza, named one of the 50 best pizzas in the U.S. by Food Network Magazine. The new pizzeria will offer Chef Tony Palombino's hand-crafted gourmet pizzas, pastas, calzones and salads, as well as a full bar with a selection of 24 beers on draft, including nine local craft beers.
As part of its commitment to the communities it serves, BoomBozz has selected The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, Indiana Chapter, as its charity of choice for opening week. The organization will receive 100 percent of its sales from its "VIP night," which is today.
"Our concept is simple and unique — we only have one passion and that's creating great tasting gourmet pizza for our customers," said Palombino, who is also the founder and CEO. "Our friendly staff and team of creative and innovative chefs look forward to working hard, having fun and serving the Indianapolis market."
BoomBozz Pizza has been awarded the Best Gourmet Pizza, Best International Pizza and the Best Vegetarian Pizza at the International Pizza Expo.
?Hours of operation for the new unit will be Monday-Thursday, 3-10 p.m.; Friday and Saturday, 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.
