British Pizza Hut cancels deliveries to 'problem' neighborhood

LONDON—Drivers for a Pizza Hut here have refused to deliver the Boundary Way neighborhood because they say it's too dangerous.

According to the Watford Observer, area residents are angry Pizza Hut won't deliver there, and they claim that any trouble in the neighborhood happened years ago.

The residents plan to hold an area meeting in April to discuss the issue.

Other pizza operations, however, continue to deliver to the area.

"We have got a few customers there and we don't have any problems," said an unidentified representative of Tops Pizza.

A spokesman for Pizza Hut said, "In the interest of staff safety, we do not currently deliver to this area. But this may come under review in the near future."
