UPDATE: Teen charged in murder of Philly pizza delivery driver

April 1, 2004

PHILADEPHIA—Homicide detectives charged a 16-year-old boy on April 1 with murder in the March 29 shooting death and robbery of pizza delivery driver Abraham Cisse.

According to the Philadelphia Inquirer, Martique Daughtry shot Cisse, 26, in the forehead after calling for pizza delivery, according to Homicide Lt. Philip Riehl.

Investigators now are trying to determine whether Daughtry had accomplices.

Riehl would not disclose what led investigators to Daughtry, but he said they tracked down the origin of the delivery order phone call that lured Cisse to the holdup, which then led them to Daughtry.

Investigators said the call was part of a well-planned effort to hold up a delivery driver.
