Burke launches sliced meatballs

Nevada, Iowa  Burke Corporation, provider of fully cooked meat products, is launching a sliced version of its authentic tasting, traditional Italian-style meatballs under its Premoro brand.

 
The pre-sliced meatballs are oven baked for fresh homemade taste, individually quick-frozen to maintain freshness and shelf life, and add value to the bottom line by reducing labor and training costs.
 
"While our flat meatballs are more of an upscale product for specialty pizzas, our new pre-sliced, 43 millimeter by five millimeter thick meatballs provide greater pizza coverage while maintaining consistent flavor, texture and shape," said Liz Hertz, Burke marketing director. "Both industrial and food service operators will appreciate this easy-to-use alternative to traditional meatballs."
  
 Premoro sliced meatballs can be used for Italian menu applications including pizza and pasta, sub and grinder sandwiches, casseroles and appetizers. In addition to the sliced meatball product, Burke offers a variety of meatballs and toppings under its Premoro brand.
