Burrissimo Fast Fresh Italian, a fast casual newcomer that introduced its Italian Burrito to Orange County, Calif., diners late last year, will open its second location Tuesday in Brea, Calif.
Burrissimo serves artisan pizzas using a gas-fired stone hearth pizza oven, according to a company press release. Other menu choices include Burrissimo's signature Italian burrito, a pasta bowl or salad bowl.
"Guests choose an entrée at the counter and we build it to their specifications, assembly-line style," said Burrissimo founder and owner, John Parlet. "With all of our fresh toppings and homemade sauces, pizza is a natural addition to our entrée choices. We make the dough fresh daily, top it to our guests' specifications, and bake it in our pizza oven right in front of the guest in only about 3 minutes."
The chain will support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation's Orange County Chapter by donating $1 for every dessert pizza purchased and 10 percent of all gift cards sold on opening day of the new location.
