Greenfield Farms Food announced that it has initiated a search for prospective franchisee candidates in the Florida region for its wholly-owned subsidiary, Carmela's Pizzeria.
The company has targeted a list of existing pizza outlets in the area and its goal is to build shareholder value in expanding its footprint of locations, according to a press release. Carmela’s is aiming to have a broader presence in a warmer climate, and continue its sale of Hershey’s Ice Cream products.
Greenfield Farms said the Hershey’s partnership enables the pizzeria to generate walk-in traffic with new clientele, and is also gaining popularity with existing customers.
To support its growth, Carmela's Pizzeria has launched a new website, featuring a newly incorporated design and functionality, as well as an interactive catering menu and ordering system.
The online ordering system will be enhanced through the implementation of a responsive mobile design that will allow customers to access the website through their mobile device. Carmela's has retained the services of a web developer and is currently working toward implementing these additional features in the weeks to come, the release said.
