Carmela's Pizzeria plans to add alcohol in select locations

Carmela's Pizzeria units in Centerville, Springboro and New Carlisle, Ohio, are currently achieving sales at a rate to realize an estimated aggregate of $2M (unaudited) in annual revenue for 2014, including sales from the addition of a fourth unit currently scheduled for opening this month.

According to a news release, Carmela's, a subsidiary of Greenfield Farms Food Inc., is working on initiatives to enhance its sales, such as adding Carmela's Treats and alcohol service in select locations.

"We are very pleased with the performance of the restaurants as they are comparable or in some cases exceed the typical numbers posted by similar franchise restaurants," said Rob Heineman, chairman and CEO. "These are exciting times for our expanding company. Our national franchise marketing program is quickly taking shape and we look forward to providing regular updates in the coming weeks ahead."
