Catering company ramps up momentum with expanded restaurant network

Phoodeez, a Boston-based company that specializes in partnering with those in need of catering with restaurants, has launched its Frequent Phoodeez program and added several restaurant partners.

For those who need to order meals on an ongoing basis, the new Frequent Phoodeez program offloads the ordering burden for events scheduled throughout the year and establishes alternating menus to fit customer tastes and budgets, said Christine Marcus, Phoodeez co-founder and CEO.

Phoodeez’s most recently secured partners include Sam LaGrassa’s, the Boston Financial District restaurant known for its deluxe sandwiches; Momogoose, the country’s first food truck social enterprise; and The Paramount, a longstanding neighborhood restaurant in Beacon Hill.

"Phoodeez partners with innovative, authentic restaurants to give customers more inspired food and make them look like foodie Ph.D.s in front of their peers, colleagues and bosses," Marcus said.

Customers want event eating to be a fun, easy process, and they expect amazing food that is delivered on time and presented beautifully, said Sal Lupoli, owner of Sal’s Pizza and Salvatore’s Restaurants and Phoodeez co-founder and chairman of the board.

"Phoodeez makes that happen, and we’re setting a higher standard for event eating in Greater Boston," he said.

The company recently appointed Nick Assad to the position of director of sales in hopes of reaching more restaurants and customers in the Boston area and to ultimately prepare for multicity expansion, Marcus said.
