CHICAGO -- Multiple media outlets are reporting that 29-year-old delivery driver Eduardo Flores was murdered while delivering pizza on the night of Dec. 10.

Flores, who worked for Guy's Pizza, was found inside his minivan, which had crashed on the side of a city road. He was found alive in the vehicle, but with a grave wound to the stomach.

He died later at 9:30 p.m. in Chicago's Mt. Sinai Hospital, but not before telling police he'd been shot by four men in a passing vehicle. City police suspect the gunmen may have called for pizza delivery in attempt to trap and rob Flores.

According to the Chicago Tribune, a family member said that Flores' shift at Guy's was supposed to be the last for the married father of two.
