Chicago Pizza Tours will mark its one-year anniversary with a new spin on the concept – an evening pizza and wine/beer tour.
Participants will enjoy a scenic tour of the city with stops at four distinct pizza joints paired with wine and beer of their liking along the way. Each stop includes a handcrafted slice of pizza with cocktail, and a rare glimpse of the action inside the kitchen.
Tickets are $80 and can be purchased through Zerve by calling 800-979-3370 or online. Each ticket includes four cocktails and five slices of pizza as well as water at each stop. Participants must be 21 or older to attend with a valid ID.
The Chicago Pizza Tours, founded by Jon Porter in 2010, feature a ride aboard "Dough Force One," where participants not only take a culinary tour, but also learn about the city's history.
The tour will commence in Roscoe Village and end near Millennium Park, where the final location stays open later.
Pizza & Cocktails Tours are about four hours in length and run every Thursday evening at 7:30 p.m.
The Original Chicago Pizza Tours are about 3.5 hours in length and run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday morning at 11 a.m.
